Halloween 2016: Last Minute Costume Decisions

I like halloween parties. I love dressing up and I love seeing other people dressing up as someone other than themselves (because I hate them. Lol). 😂. I am also the Queen of Last Minute Decisions, so I also like costumes that don't take up weeks to plan.

Last year, I dressed up as Wednesday Addams and I didn't even plan it! I just happened to have a black dress with white collars (it was all the rage last year! Hello, yayadub fans). All I really did was braid my hair, put on extra layers of pressed powder on my face and swipe dark violet lipstick on my lippies. It was quite an easy look!

Don't forget to be in character!

So this year, I wanted to do an easy costume as well. I basically had three options in mind: Eleven of Stranger Things, Joyce Byers of the same show, and Rachel Green of Friends.
My problem with Eleven is that her hair is quite difficult to imitate. For me to look the part, I must either have a blond shoulder-length wig, or next to no hair at all. Although her pink dress and white sneaks are staples in my closet, I just didn't have the time to buy a wig.

Aaaaaah, classic Rachel Green! I know I'm not the only one who absolutely adores Rachel's outfits. I don't actually know why I didn't push through with dressing up as her this year (probably because I'm still ain't too fab to BE her) but I'm totally going as her next year.

So I was down to my last option: Joyce freakin Byers!!!

Seeing as Winona guest-starred in FRIENDS and KISSED RACHEL GREEN, I can say that dressing up as her was no less than dressing up like Rachel. I looove her character in Stranger Things and although she looked pretty cray cray most of the time, she was totally rocking those mom jeans and oversized sweats.

It is also pretty easy to dress up as her. You basically need two to three things from your closet to get the Joyce Byers look:

Loser that I am, I forgot to bring my christmas lights to the party. Nevertheless, it was fun shouting "WILL??? ARE YOU THERE?" and "HAVE YOU SEEN MY SON?" the whole day.  Lol

(A little editing never hurt anybody ;))

HAVE YOU SEEN MY SON? WE'RE GOING TRICK OR TREATING. Haha!

What or who are you dressing up as this year? Share it in the comments below. I'd love to hear from you. :)
